This 10 days tour from Casablanca travels to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, the Sahara Desert, Ait Ben Haddou, and Marrakech. In Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to explore the renowned Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, as well as the breathtaking Todra Gorges and the magnificent Dades Valley. This tour provides an opportunity to experience the diverse culture, history, and natural landscapes of Morocco, as well as to peruse the souks for Moroccan products. We will traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains prior to arriving at Marrakech, the Pearl of the South.
Upon arrival at Casablanca International Airport, a chauffeur will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for some rest. Afterward, enjoy a brief sightseeing tour of the city before spending the night in Casablanca.
After breakfast, we head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of its imperial cities. Our exploration will take us to the Oudaya, the medieval medina, Shalla, and the Hassan Tower. After lunch, we continue our journey to Chefchaouen, the “blue city,” which is renowned for its stunning streets and picturesque charm. We’ll also visit the Spanish Mosque to enjoy a breathtaking sunset view. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.
Following breakfast, we depart for Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. After exploring the ruins, we continue to Meknes, another imperial city, for a brief tour and lunch. Our journey ends in Fez, where we’ll spend the night in a riad.
Today, we will dive into the cultural and religious heart of Morocco with a guided tour of Fez. Wander through the narrow streets of the ancient Medina, where you’ll discover architectural gems from the Merinid and Alaouite dynasties. We’ll visit the Bu Inanya Mosque, madrassas, Nejarin Square, and the artisans’ quarter, where craftsmen still use techniques passed down through generations. We’ll also visit the historic Jewish quarter, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of Muslim and Jewish communities.
Today, we venture into the wilderness. After breakfast, we set out on a scenic drive to Merzouga, with a stop in Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” You’ll experience European-style architecture, parks, and even a ski resort. Continuing our journey, we pass through Azrou and feed the friendly Barbary apes near the Atlas cedars. We stop for lunch in Midelt, then proceed through the Ziz Valley, where the desert landscape begins. Our day ends in Merzouga.
After breakfast, we begin a 4×4 excursion through the sand dunes of the Sahara. We’ll visit Berber nomads and learn about their way of life. We then head to Khamilia to enjoy a Gnaoua music performance. In the afternoon, we embark on a camel ride to our desert camp, where we’ll spend the night. The camp offers comfortable beds and private facilities. In the evening, we enjoy a Moroccan dinner, music, and stargazing around the campfire.
We wake early to catch a stunning sunrise over the sand dunes, a truly unforgettable moment. After breakfast, we continue our journey toward Dades, passing through Rissani and visiting “The Fossil Factory.” After a scenic stop at Tinghir, we visit the Todra Gorges for a stroll and lunch at a local restaurant. We continue to the picturesque village of Dades for the night.
Today we travel through the Valley of Roses, stopping in Skura Oasis before reaching Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco.” We’ll visit Kasbah Taurirt and the Atlas Film Studio and Cinema Museum. Afterward, we head to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its role in many films, including Game of Thrones. Finally, we drive through the majestic Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi n-Tishka pass at 2,260 meters, and arrive in Marrakech for a well-deserved break.
We dedicate the entire day to exploring Marrakech, the “Pearl of the South.” Visit iconic sites such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. After lunch, dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa El Fna Square, where you’ll encounter street performers, fruit vendors, and unique local activities.
Before transferring to the airport for your return flight to your country, you will have leisure time on the final day of your 10-day tour from Casablanca.
